Furniture factory - factory - apprenticeship centre. The Telegraph's current design builds on a rich history of diverse functions. As the headquarters of the Telegrafia company, the torso of the building was built between the two world wars. It was based on an earlier tradition of industrial production begun with the construction of the factory at the beginning of the century. It was intended for the production of telephone and telegraph machines. After further modifications and post-war nationalisation, the workshops of the apprenticeship school of the TOS company specialising in the production of machine tools were established here. The centre operated in the building until 1989, when it was replaced by the premises of a refrigeration company.
History creates genius loci. And we believe that history is made by people. We are therefore looking for any memories, experiences or period photographs that would help us to complete the story of a place that has been passed through by generations of workers, students, their loved ones and even the casual passer-by.
