What are we planning for July at Telegraph Gallery?
If you visit Telegraph Gallery regularly, you will know that our programme goes beyond the gallery space. In addition to the long-term exhibitions, there are pop-up exhibitions in the cinema and loft throughout the year, as well as residencies by Czech and international artists, always ending with an Open Studio in their studio. In addition, you can look forward to lecture series focused on the work of contemporary artists, the work of curators, and on the collecting of contemporary art with collectors, gallerists and curators.
This month we say goodbye to the exhibition Game Owner followed by the opening of a new exhibition by artist Lucie Tallová, and you will be able to meet the new artist in residence during Open Studio!
3 7 2025 / 18:00 Dernissage / Guided Tour of Game Owner
The Game Owner exhibition will close at the beginning of the month, and we will see Søren Dahlgaard's photographs and Jakub Janovský's collages for the last time. During the evening you will have the opportunity to take part in a guided tour with the exhibiting Czech artist Jakub Janovský as well as with the two curators Erika Kovačičová and Mira Macík.
17 7 2025 / 18:00 Vernissage I Wish I Were Made of Stone: Lucia Tallová
Exactly fourteen days after the opening of the two-artist exhibition, the gallery will open with an exhibition by Slovak artist Lucia Tallová. Her work deals with objects, their memories and memory. Her authorial sensibility and insight allows her to find and further develop remarkable connections between the shapes and materials of original objects and her own authorial layer.
30 7 2025 / 6:00 PM Open Studio Giacomo Modolo
In July, Italian artist Giacomo Modolo will begin working on his works. His work focuses on painting and combines figurative precision with deconstructive painterly gestures. His work reflects on the role of the contemporary image and its oversaturation in media space. His admirable works can be seen during Open Studio on the penultimate day of the month.
We look forward to seeing you!
