Every industry needs promotion, even the creative ones. That's why we decided to reach out to industry experts who know how to sell not only their works, but also themselves. In Telegraph Cinema, painter Lucie Jindrák Skřivánková, designer Anna Leschinger and curator Vojtěch Fiala presented their projects and approaches to their promotion. Watch the video that was made during the pilot event.
Anna Leschinger is a designer with a focus on interior and textile design, but she also works in illustration and graphic design. In her work she likes to combine colours, textures and patterns to create new variations. Together with Lenka Preussová, she is the co-founder of Lappa Studio, a brand that creates original acoustic panels.
Lucie Jindrák Skřivánková is a graduate of Michael Rittstein's studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. She is one of the most outstanding Czech artists of the young generation. Already during her studies she has developed a clearly recognizable signature characterized by sweeping gestural painting, bold pastel colours reminiscent of the behaviour of watercolours and occasional combination of materials. In addition to painting, she has also branched out into printmaking and design.
Vojtěch Fiala is the founder and curator of Dudes&Barbies Gallery, which creates exhibition content for the Vnitroblock multifunctional centre and the Café What's Its Name. He also works as a freelance curator. One of his most extensive events was an exhibition of Czech-American painter MAXIM, which took place in 2018 in the Kotva shopping centre. In addition, he has had management experience in a creative agency and now works as a project manager for the newly emerging international project Sport in Art.
