Má vlast EDIT 05 is coming

5 10 2022

We have already introduced you to the cooperation with MáVlast platform, now we would like to introduce you to the accompanying programme, which will be added to the fashion pop-up showroom for the first time ever.

program

The whole event is unique for several reasons - it will take place on the top floor of the Telegraph, a loft apartment not normally open to the public. The temporary showroom will feature Czech and Slovak brands that stand out for their originality, ideas or timelessness. Most importantly, their products are created entirely in the Czech or Slovak Republic. For the first time, the temporary showroom will be accompanied by an accompanying programme and finally a unique installation.

Installation of traditional Haná costumes in combination with garments of contemporary fashion designers Zuzana Kubíčková, Natalia Dufková or student of UMPRUM Tomáš Višňovský was prepared by Olomouc designer Linda Procházka.

The event will kick off on Friday, 14 October at 19:00 with a traditional party. The right atmosphere will be created by Explicit from Brno with their lounge Moderate Sound. As usual, the pop-up is open to all. Má vlast EDIT platform wants to bring domestic art and design to the general public through its events. The primary intention is to democratize fashion and make it accessible to those who are not necessarily customers.

You will be able to enjoy knitted accessories and clothing by Jana Mikešová, jewellery by La Dominique Jewelry, natural body cosmetics by The Green Theory or leather handbags by KRAS. Má vlast EDIT 05 will also present clothing by designer Hana Frišonsová and brands Appre and About Studio, furniture by Verver or Ja/studio and traditionally made cast bells by Ribell. You can also look forward to collections by well-known designers such as Klára Nademlýnská and LEEDA or representatives of the young generation - Jan Černý and Tereza Rozálie Kladošová. Everything will be available to try on and buy.

VH

This weekend will see the launch of a companion programme consisting of a series of lectures primarily aimed at people interested in the business side of the creative industries or wanting to broaden their horizons on issues relating to local brands - from initial idea and production to marketing and the importance of relationships within the industry. The lectures will also give the public an insight into the behind-the-scenes of the artistic professions.

All the accompanying programme will take place in the cinema. Invitations have been accepted by, for example, Pavlína Louženská, the founder of Holky z marketingu, and journalist Thea Kučerová with her show #Trendspotting. Visitors can buy tickets for a panel discussion "Why is it so expensive!" - a phrase all creatives encounter almost daily, a lecture containing practical information "How to start a brand" with Má vlast EDIT founders Ivona Petružálková, Magda Žůrková, Anna Derfler from Olomouc's Derfler Studio, a branding company, and fashion designers Tereza Rozalia Kladošová and Lada Vyvialová. A special feature will be a workshop of analogue collages by visual artist Alexander Bel in collaboration with Vogue Czechoslovakia.

Come and be carried away on the waves of fashion and design.
