All proceeds from the sale of 100 serigraphs will be donated directly to the Embassy of Ukraine. The Graphics depict the St. Andrew's Cathedral, located in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev. The size of the print is 100 x 70 cm.

Each graphic has a unique number. We publish a list of buyers, so please let us know in the seller's note if and in what form you wish your name to be publicly listed, or whether we should list you as an anonymous donor.

Jakub Špaňhel is one of the most important contemporary painters in the Czech Republic. He studied in the studio of Jiří David and Milan Knížák at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and was a member of the Luxsus art group. His works can be found in many private collections, but also in the possession of the National Gallery in Prague. Coming from a Catholic family, Špaňhel has been painting churches since his diploma thesis, which he presented in 2000. Since then he has painted several dozen of them. Most of them, however, were depictions of their interiors, in which he is fascinated by spiritual and physical light. These were usually churches in the Czech Republic, or Germany, France and Spain. St. Andrew's Church in Kiev is Spanhel's first Ukrainian church.
