Enter a world where comfort becomes control and the human body becomes architecture. The opening ceremony of this year’s Telegraph Film Festival is a guided tour of the White Noise exhibition at the Telegraph Gallery. The exhibition is based on the closed architecture of the contemporary office, which it uses as an organizational structure. It develops Anna Uddenberg’s long-standing interest in functionality as a tool of control. In the gallery, the exhibition transforms into a Koolhaasian Junkspace – a condensed administrative interior with suspended ceilings, fluorescent lighting, partitions, ventilation systems and Herman Miller office chairs. Here, the ergonomic promises of comfort, efficiency and practicality acquire a psychological dimension. Anna Uddenberg’s fragmented and increasingly disembodied figures lose their bodily autonomy and merge with the furniture and systems that surround them. The body itself becomes part of the infrastructure.

Anna Uddenberg is a Swedish artist living and working in Berlin. Her work focuses primarily on sculpture and installation, in which she explores the relationship between the body, bodily autonomy, ergonomics and corporate design. She has exhibited her works in prestigious international institutions (e.g. Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Schinkel Pavillon in Berlin, Migros Museum in Zurich or at the biennials in Athens and Ljubljana). Her works are represented in important public and private collections, such as the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, Kiasma in Helsinki and the German State Collection of Contemporary Art.

FEMMES FATALES. Fatal women. The kind that are not forgotten.

The sixth year of the Telegraph Film Festival belongs to women in front of and behind the camera. Film heroines and their authors. Directors, artists and illustrators of different generations. Some have already made a significant impact on the history of Czech film, others are coming with contemporary work and new themes. Each different. Each in their own way.

Are you planning to go to more events during the festival? It is definitely worth getting an accreditation. With it, you have free entry to all screenings and accompanying events, so you don't have to deal with each program separately and you save time and money. Plus, you can enjoy the festival comfortably and to the fullest. And we are thinking of students too! Those with a valid ISIC card have discounted ACCREDITATION !
