Telegraph Print is no ordinary work of art. Telegraph Print is a testament to the creation of an artistic community that brings together a diverse range of artists and their approaches. Moreover, visitors to the exhibition had the opportunity to experience the graphic work of individual artists in the context of their other artistic expressions.
Want to have real art in your home? Want to invest and don't know where to start?
Graphics are often a stepping stone for would-be art collectors, because they are both affordable and unique. About two years ago, we at the Telegraph decided to enrich the world with our own graphic series called Telegraphics. We invited artists who were part of our exhibition or residency program to collaborate. In this way, Telegrafika serves not only as a collector's item, but also as a reminder of the often broader artistic collaboration, becoming an object of ever-increasing value. Mark Ther or Pavel Korbička have thus incorporated in their prints a reference to the exhibition projects realized at the Telegraph Gallery. Monika Žáková is connected to the Telegraph not only through her residency, but also through the mural that has adorned its facade since 2022. Laura Limbourg's prints will be returning to the Telegraph Lofts; in 2022 we exhibited the artist's work under the title American Diary. In October 2022, the Telegraph Cinema hosted the very first original performance by Filip Kůrka, entitled Solitaire. The artist's Telegraph thus refers to that event. Veronika Gabrielová, David Pešat or Dominik Adamec then created their Telegraphs during the residency. Another artist from this series is Jakub Špaňhel. He has already completed his residency in 2020, and in addition, he created a benefit print depicting St. Andrew's Cathedral in Kiev in the spring of 2022 and is also represented in this series. A future collaboration with Telegraph Gallery features an output by Jana Kasalova, which is part of the upcoming exhibition Connections, curated by Terezie Zemánková and opening this December.
