Magdaléna, Ivona and Natálie. Three women who are in the fashion business. Each of them is dedicated to something different - styling, creative, marketing - and together they form a perfectly complementary team. With the first pandemic wave, they felt the need to support (not only) fashion designers, so together they created the MáVlast project.
Under the name Má Vlast EDIT is a sales platform that gives Czech and Slovak designers the opportunity to present their brand, products, philosophy. In turn, visitors to the pop-up showroom can see, try and buy products that are not available in regular stores.
The concept of a pop-up showroom is always enriched by the association with an exceptional space. On four occasions, the MáVlast event has taken place in Prague, where it was held, for example, in the Maxmilian Hotel or the Design Port DEPO showroom. Now, they are venturing into non-Prague waters and heading to the Telegraph, specifically the Loft. According to the organisers, the whole experience of the event is enhanced by the specially prepared atmosphere, which is created by the connection of design products and exclusive environment. Visitors can thus look forward to an unforgettable cultural experience.
One of the ideas behind the whole concept is to connect designers with the general public, to organize events accessible to all and to promote the democratization of fashion and culture in general. In an effort to bring fashion, Czech and Slovak brands and their philosophy to a wider audience, the founders have expanded the MáVlast platform to include a website, where you can find original texts and fashion photo editorials. Here you can enjoy and be inspired.
