Tasting evenings until May

The end of the bleakest month of the year has been washed away with bubbles in the Telegraph.

Telegraph Cafe hosted sommelier Jakub Šrenek and bartender Jeník Vondrka, who paired Italian wines and drinks with tapas from the hands of chef Aleš Hrabec. During the tasting evening, the question often came up, what else is going to happen? And we already have some concrete answers for you!

February is for many a month when they completely skip alcohol. Others laugh at the fact that the month of abstinence comes out to be the shortest month of the year (even though we have one more day this year). We've prepared a few extra drinks for February to satisfy both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinkers. For example, we have the Espresso Martini dessert drink and a "dry" Espresso Nontini version. Come and try a non-alcoholic G&T or Coffee Cooler. For those who want to keep February dry, at least in the name of the drink, we have the Martini Dry Coctail.

You can end and wash away the dry month nicely on Thursday, February 29 at 6pm with Peter Šimeček, who will guide you through the world of non-alcoholic beers. He will present a cross-section of the best of what is produced in our country in the non-alcoholic variant, and prove to you that you can enjoy non-alcoholic beer too.

We'll be riding the G&T wave in March. On Wednesday 27 March, we invite you to a gin tasting hosted by Jiří Richter, currently serving as brand ambassador for one of the biggest gin brands. You will taste both interesting gins themselves and cocktails made from them. Jiří will then honour us with his experience as a bartender and mix a few drinks himself. You can slow down the effect of the gins by choosing from the tapas menu. And definitely don't be afraid of Wednesday. In the week leading up to Easter, Wednesday is already a bit of a Friday.

In April, we'll start tuning you in for good weather. And if the weather really allows it, we'd love to welcome you to our atrium for an "Aperitivo Moment". It's that moment when one indulges in good food and drink after work. We will prepare drinks based on Aperol and Campari, which we will again complement with something delicate "for a scratch". Put it on your calendar that you're going to "Aperitivo Moment" on Friday, April 25.
