New coat? No, but the guts do.

A visitor to the Telegraph who heads up to the 3rd floor from Monday 7 August is likely to ask what has been going on here for the last month? Changes to the Telegraph Cafe are not obvious at first glance. We dare say that everyone will notice a pleasant change the moment their breakfast, lunch and tapas plate lands in front of them!

In July, we reorganized the kitchen, played with boxes, cut and inflated again, chose new equipment, composed new recipes, tasted, weighed grams, cooked stocks... all in all, we prepared the kitchen to offer you only the best.

You can already tell a few changes from the "menu":

In addition to our regular breakfast and lunch offerings, we now have breakfast and lunch packages. Why?

  • makes it easier for you to decide what to order for breakfast
  • satisfy your client and your business partner; entice them with an appetizer, finish with a sweet spot
  • An "all in" menu will charm your significant other; we serve the mimosas first

We don't stop with lunch.

As a new item on our cafe schedule, we've included tapas. Smaller portions of unrefined food will be offered every day from Monday to Saturday from 4pm until closing. Come with friends, as a couple or on your own for a sub-afternoon meal, cheer up or keep it all to yourself. Either way, you won't go hungry in the evening.

We extend the closing time until 22.00.

Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. We've been wanting to show off the atmosphere in the cafe in the early evening for a loooong time. Come in for tapas and a drink. From the café, you can continue on to the cinema for a gastro-cultural experience.

And no more bragging... We don't want to feed you with talk about how fancy our kitchen is.

We humbly wish you to come and taste and enjoy our new menu. The chefs have spent the last months preparing it, and if they had no one to cook it for, they'd be like writers writing in a drawer. Come Monday at 8:00 a.m.
