July: What Does the Gallery Do?

2 7 2026 | Author: Eliška Skácelová

What’s in store for June at the Telegraph Gallery?

If you visit the Telegraph Gallery regularly, you surely know that our program extends beyond the gallery space. In addition to long-term exhibitions, we host pop-up exhibitions in the cinema and loft throughout the year, as well as residencies for Czech and international artists, each culminating in an Open Studio event at their studio. You can also look forward to lecture series focused on the work of contemporary artists, the role of curators, and collecting contemporary art, featuring collectors, gallery owners, and curators.

With the new month comes a new exhibition at Telegraph Gallery. This time, you’ll have the opportunity to explore objects and installations from the Robert Runták Collection through the end of September.

June 25 – September 24, 2026 Signal V: A Selection of Objects and Installations from the Robert Runták Collection

At the end of June, we opened the fifth exhibition in the exhibition series Signal. The exhibition of objects from the Robert Runták Collection creates a unique space full of new interactions and perspectives, where dominant and solitary works of Czech art from after 1989 stand side by side, such as Plumbař by Krištof Kintera, Heat Wave by David Možný, Billboard by Jiří Příhoda, and Helma by Milena Dopitová. Furthermore, the entire project is interwoven with a second layer of meaning based on the contrast and communication between works with a related conceptual structure, thereby telling a cohesive story of modern art history.

July 16, 2026 / 6:00 PM Guided tour of the Signál V exhibition with Robert Runták for TLG Club members

Are you curious about what it’s like to live with works of art that barely fit in a room? We’ve prepared a guided tour of the new exhibition with Robert Runták for our members. From the collector and owner of Telegraph, you can learn not only about the works on display, but also about his other collections, his approach to collecting, and the context in which this exhibition was created. The guided tour is for Telegraph Club members only. If you’re not yet a member and would like to find out what benefits our members enjoy, you can sign up online or in person at our reception desk.

We look forward to seeing you!
