the holidays are supposed to be all out
we'll be there
It is brought to our attention that we are moving the entire third floor outside for July. In front of the Telegraph building. And when we say all of it, we mean all of it. We're going to open a seating area outside, make you a coffee or get you a cold lemonade.
Plus, we'll bring out a cultural program. Concerts, buskers and other performances. And we'll move the TTalk into the gallery.
3NP with cafe, cinema and atrium will be unavailable in July. Why?
Reason #1: Kitchen
Refreshing the kitchen. Nothing small. We are significantly expanding our production space to offer even better service. In addition to a brand new menu, we will soon be baking our own pastries, creating desserts and expanding our catering offerings, for example.
With this comes more changes in the kitchen. For example, a new ice cream maker for homemade ice cream or a mega-ice machine with enough power to fill a small swimming pool with ice in a single day.
In addition, we are improving our waste management and will be even greener as a result. We start sorting where others leave off.
We are also accepting food stamps starting in August.
And the best at the end! Hot plates. The warming plate will have a firm place on the service and heated plates will keep food at the desired temperature longer.
We are (un)breaking down walls, building new links for modern gastronomy.
Reason #2: Production
We will simplify the storage, supply and logistics of event production. We'll make the technical preparation of events and the actual production easier. The guys will no longer have to lug equipment halfway across the floor and disturb cafe guests. Everything will be more logical, easier and more comfortable for everyone.
Reason #3: Background for artists
Guest artists who use the residential studio will have better access to it directly from their accommodation. There will be a built-in floor that will be directly adjacent to the artist's studio. Working on art can be demanding, so we have arranged that soon the artist will be able to fall straight from the brush/spatula/computer/canvas into bed after an exhausting performance.
Reason #4: Loyalty Program
We can already reveal that we are launching a Telegraph Fan Club loyalty programme from August. Lots of benefits for everyone who comes to the Telegraph more or less often.
We will keep you posted on the details of the TLG FNKLB during July. For example, hyperfans will get free Telegraphics from current artists! You have a lot to look forward to.
How will this work?
Because we have Zbynia (our magical construction manager), we will get all the work done in July and in a way that does not restrict the normal operation of 1NP and 2NP. So the gallery remains open, as does the coworking space. Specifically:
Café open until Friday 30 June 2023 23:00
Café reopens 1 8 2023 08:00
Operation of the kiosk in front of the Telegraph
Daily 08-18
We will publish the cultural programme in front of the building and in the gallery in turn. However, the following events are already planned:
7 7 15:00
Workshop for the current exhibition: Michal Škoda
How do artists create? How do you make an exhibition? And what is art? The youngest visitors to the gallery space will learn all this and much more at a workshop organised by Telegraph Gallery as part of Michal Škoda's ongoing exhibition Topography of Solitude. Telegraph connects, and that's why it's important for us to connect child visitors with the world of art and show that there is nothing to be afraid of and that art can be fun.
12 7 18:00
Urban Vibes in the Streets
Open Air. Music. Summer! As the Telegraph Cafe moves to the street in front of the building in July, we've decided to provide music in addition to drinks and treats! As part of the summer return of the Urban Vibes concept, live music of various styles is coming to the front of the building. For a few select evenings in July, have fun with our musical wizards and buskers.
EVENT
Among us girls (and boys) - the whole Ball Lightning event is quite logistics intensive - so we will be adapting the programme flexibly as the reconstruction progresses. But we're trying to set it up as soon as possible so that everything runs smoothly.
So let's recap.
Please avoid the third floor in July. Unless you are a cook or a plumber.
On the other hand, we would love to see you in the gallery and outside the Telegraph building. There you can have a coffee and come to a fine program. The Café and Cinema will reopen on 1 8 2023.
