Set in an isolated mountain region, the film builds tension gradually, from latent animosity to fanatical violence fueled by superstition, religious visions, and crowd manipulation, as a long-standing conflict between two clans turns into an explosive mix of fear, faith, and collective hysteria.
At the center of the story is Mesut, a man torn between personal trauma, societal pressure, and his own “prophetic” visions that begin to (de)shape the reality of the entire community. The film is a parable about the cycles of hatred and radicalization of society, in which “salvation” turns into a pretext for destruction.
