Celovečerní snímek o malíři Vincentovi van Goghovi S láskou Vincent (Loving Vincent) navazuje na slova samotného génia, který jednou pronesl, že "může komunikovat pouze skrze své malby". Byl natočen kombinací hraného filmu a animace originálních olejomaleb. Přesněji řečeno 66 960 originálních olejomaleb vytvořených 125 umělci z celého světa podle 94 původních van Goghových děl. Slovy tvůrců by "rozložené obrazy dokázaly pokrýt celý Londýn nebo Manhattan". Jedná se o první film svého druhu na světě. Předlohou pro animované obrazy jsou hrané scény se skutečnými herci. V obsazení figurují jména jako Saoirse Ronan, Aidan Turner nebo Helen McCrory. Scénář vznikl na základě 800 van Goghových dopisů adresovaných především jeho bratrovi. Příběh vrcholí v červenci 1890, kdy se van Gogh léčící se z deprese postřelí do hrudníku a o dva dny později, ve svých 37 letech, na následky tohoto zranění umírá. Okolnosti jeho smrti nebyly nikdy zcela objasněny.

Loving Vincent, a feature-length film about the painter Vincent van Gogh, follows the words of the genius himself, who once said that he "can only communicate through his paintings". Film was made through a combination of live-action film and animation of the original oil paintings. More specifically, 66,960 original oil paintings created by 125 artists from around the world based on 94 original works by van Gogh. In the words of the creators, "the unfolded paintings could cover the whole of London or Manhattan". This is the first film of its kind in the world. The animated paintings are based on live-action scenes with real actors. The cast includes names such as Saoirse Ronan, Aidan Turner and Helen McCrory. The script is based on 800 letters written by van Gogh, mainly to his brother. The story climaxes in July 1890, when van Gogh, recovering from depression, shoots himself in the chest and dies two days later, aged 37, from the wound. The circumstances of his death have never been fully explained.
