The guided tour of the Signal IV exhibition, which is intended exclusively for Telegraph Club members, will be led by Telegraph owner Robert Runták, who will explain not only the works on display but also the overall concept of his collection. What was the path to creating this collection and how does the view of the works in the exhibition change with the passage of several decades? All this and much more will be revealed at this event.
Signal IV presents a selection of art from the 1980s, when the most interesting artistic expressions took place outside of official institutions and review panels. The exhibition shows this generation in juxtaposition with its mentors - artists who worked outside academic structures and influenced emerging artists.
The commented tour will offer not only a look at the works on display, but also insight into the collector's approach and the context in which these works were created.
