Every industry needs promotion, even the creative ones. That's why we decided to reach out to industry experts who know how to sell not only their works, but also themselves. In the Telegraph Cinema, the editor-in-chief of Artikl magazine Bára Alex Kašparová, visual artist Stanislav Ondruš and PR & Marketing Manager of Kunsthalle Praha Ondřej Čížek will be debating. Bára Alex Kašparová is the founder and ninth year editor-in-chief of the cultural
monthly magazine Artikl. She is the owner of a publishing and production agency for culture
media4free. She is the curator of PRO ART project focused on contemporary visual art.
She produces the programme ArtZóna for ČT art. art, constantly following the most diverse manifestations of culture. She is a photographer, publicist and
critic. She writes texts on the work of artists for monographs and exhibition catalogues. She is part of the
juries of competitions in music, visual arts and design. Occasionally she collaborates
as a freelancer in the field of media communication and conceptual identity of young or new entities.
Stanislav Ondruš is a graduate of the bachelor's degree programme at the Zbyněk Janáček Studio of Graphic Arts at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ostrava. Subsequently, he completed his master's studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava in the studio of Painting III by Rastislav Podhorský. His work deals with the essence of experiencing the present moment, which he expresses in minimalist language and gestural painting and drawing. He is characterized by monochromatic colour. Ondruš's works are created by movement, as a certain agency carrier.
Ondřej Čížek works in the marketing universe across film, music and fine art. He is currently working as the head of communication for the cultural space Kunsthalle Prague. He collaborates with the Bigg Boss label on publishing multi-genre books, and works with the Colours of Ostrava festival. He studied film and theatre studies in Olomouc. He enjoys architecture, literature, Batman and sharks.
