What are we planning for March at the Telegraph Gallery?

If you visit the Telegraph Gallery regularly, you will know that our programme goes beyond the gallery space. In addition to long-term exhibitions, there are pop-up exhibitions in the cinema and loft throughout the year, as well as residencies by Czech and international artists, which always end with an Open Studio in their studio. In addition, you can look forward to lecture series focused on the work of contemporary artists, the work of curators, and the collecting of contemporary art in collaboration with collectors, gallerists and curators.

March is full of events! From the presentation of the artist Daniel Diviš, to the Open Studio of Taja Spassková, to the actual opening of the exhibition Signal IV.

5 3 2025 / 18:00 Artist Presentation: Stanislav Diviš

The next artist, who will appear in the lecture series Artist Presentation is Stanislav Diviš. He will not only answer your curious questions, but above all he will talk about the beginnings of his artistic career and his paintings. You can see his paintings at the ending exhibition Signal IV: The Eighties.

7 3 2025 / 18:00 Guided Tour of the Signal IV Exhibition with Robert Runtánek

For Telegraph Club members of all categories only, we have arranged a guided tour of the Signal IV exhibition with the owner of not only the paintings, but also the building, Robert Runtánek. He will explain the path to the creation of this collection and introduce not only the works on display, but also the overall concept of his collection. If you are not yet a member of the TLG club, you can fix that right away! You can apply for a membership card online or purchase one at the Telegraph's front desk.

11 3 2025 / 18:00 Collecting Contemporary Art Lucie Havlová, Tomáš Hendrych

In the next lecture series of Collecting Contemporary Art, you will learn from experienced and emerging collectors what impulses led them to become interested in the contemporary art market, how they build their collection or how they contribute to other collections. In March, Lucie Havlová and Tomáš Hendrych, who run the Kuzebauch Gallery in Prague's Břevnov district, will present their experiences. This gallery specialises in exceptional studio glass.

20 3 2025 / 18:00 Signal IV: Dernissage / Guided tour with Jiří David

The Signal IV exhibition will close at the end of the month. During the day you will have the opportunity to take part in a guided tour with the participation of the exhibiting artists. During the dernissage there will also be a concert by the band Krásné nové stroje (Beautiful New Machines) with Stanislav Diviš, Robert Nebřensky and Martin Choura.

26 3 2025 / 18:00 Open Studio: Taja Spasskova

For a whole month, Taja Spasskova, a Belarusian artist living and working in the Czech Republic, will be working in the studio. During the Open Studio you will be able to see her newly created works, which specialize in abstraction and a combination of drawing and photography.

We look forward to seeing you!
