This year at TEFF we are also showing films in preview! It is the latest film of the star Romanian director Radu Jude (Bad luck or Stupid porn), winner of awards from leading film festivals such as Sundance, Berlinale or Karlovy Vary! His new tragicomic probe into the soul of a broken social worker deftly straddles the line between biting social satire, philosophical reflection and documentary. This year's festival theme is Reflection, and we could hardly look for a more appropriate filmmaker who so accurately and unsparingly reflects contemporary issues and social moods.
In the Transylvanian capital Cluj, Orsolya (Eszter Tompa) works as a bailiff. One day she has to evict a homeless man from her basement, with disastrous consequences. The eviction leads to his tragic suicide, and Orsolya finds herself faced with a moral problem that she must try to solve.
