Jakub Strach, known under the stage name NobodyListen, is one of the most prominent representatives of the Czech electronic and club scene today. Originally an underground music producer who made his mark as a beat maker for leading local rappers, he has in just a few years become a respected artist with a significant presence in the worlds of theatre, film, and sport.

NobodyListen entered the music scene as a teenager, when he began composing his first beats in the hip hop genre. Gradually, he built a community around him, centered under the brand Addict Sound. More than just a label, Addict became a lifestyle and a series of sold-out parties with distinctive visuals that influenced a new generation of music fans. Over the past decade, he has collaborated with some of the most prominent artists of the Czechoslovak rap scene, including his current partner Annet X. However, he has not been afraid to branch out into ambient or film music. It was this ability to move across genres that led him to collaborate with the National Theatre, where in 2023 he created the music for the ballet performance bpm (beats per minute).

In 2024, he organized a special show in Prague to celebrate 15 years on stage, the recording of which was released as the first Czech DJ set in Dolby Atmos format on the Apple Music platform. Thanks to the spatial recording, the listener finds himself right in the middle of the action. This is a unique technological and artistic achievement. Later this year, he accepted an invitation to provide the musical accompaniment for the Czech Lion Awards gala evening. His soundtrack, based on emotive electronics, added new energy to the evening and confirmed that NobodyListen is one of those who are pushing the boundaries of Czech popular culture.

Another milestone in his career was composing a new theme song for the Chance Liga, the top Czech football competition. The goal of the football association was to get closer to a younger audience. NobodyListen delivered an energetic, clubby-sounding composition that stirred debate on social media but undoubtedly appealed to a new target group. In spring 2023, the documentary Gen A: Do What You Love was released, a time-lapse documentary that follows several years of his life, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process and his personal struggle for authenticity in an environment that often adopts trends.

His work shows that authenticity and the courage to experiment can lead to real influence. Staying true to himself while growing - that's the story of Jakub Strach as he begins to write his next chapter, which includes the Rooftop Fun #6 event. It is there that you can experience for yourself the creator who embodies the new wave of Czech music with a global mindset.
