An entertaining screening of director Ridley Scott's horror legend and lecture as a scientific look at the film's titular monster...

Meanwhile, the mothership's computer decodes the message as a warning, not a cry for help. Everyone is immediately recalled. But one of the eggs opens and within a hundredth of a second, some sort of octopus-shaped mass latches onto one of the astronauts' helmets, or more accurately, his face. Despite Ripley's resistance that it's against safety regulations to take anything unfamiliar on board, Ash opens the door and lets everyone in. After some time, an alien organism is found on the floor, having passed out itself. The sufferer appears to be in good health. However, while dining together, the diners experience a horrific spectacle. Before their eyes, a creature crawls out of the astronaut's belly, and before anyone can do anything, it disappears at lightning speed into the vast spaces of the ship. The nightmare begins - the monster is gradually destroying the crew and seems indestructible...

The guest speaker will be Tadeáš Semeniuk.
