cinema lecture business

Customer demands for companies to be responsible and environmentally friendly are one of the main reasons why companies of all sizes are increasingly focusing on the circular economy. However, it is not only the customer segment that is driving the transition of companies' business models; increasing demands are also emerging within companies - from employees or in supply and demand chains. How to grasp the topic of circular economy, how to work with it and how to apply it in the company will be the main points of this lecture. Attention will also be paid to the connection between the concepts of circular economy, sustainability and ESG, the forthcoming legislation in this area, and a demonstration of practical solutions already in place for implementing circular economy principles in companies.

During this lecture you will learn:

Circular economy principles
What the circular economy looks like in data
Why pursue the circular economy in the context of upcoming legislation
Benefits of the circular economy for businesses
How to apply circular economy principles to companies
Examples of implementing circular economy principles in companies
How to communicate circular economy and sustainability activities
