The best animated short films from around the world! Films that have won awards from both audiences and juries at international festivals. A mix of various animation techniques, genres, and entertainment. A total of 18 of the best animated films from 14 countries.
Anishort is celebrating its 10th anniversary and will present a special edition of the festival’s most interesting films to mark the occasion. The selection consists primarily of the films with the highest audience ratings, but also includes the best films awarded by the jury. The films, averaging five minutes in length, are diverse in both theme and genre and will introduce viewers to various animation techniques, stories, and styles.
For those who wish to participate in the voting, the screening will be followed by a vote for the best film. You can thus help decide which film will win the festival trophy in the category “Audience Award for Best Film.”

TELEGRAPH FILM CLUB & DISCOUNT FOR FILM FANS
The film is presented by the Telegraph Film Club. If you are a member of our Film Club and therefore a holder of an AČFK card (Association of Czech Film Clubs) for 2026 or an ARTER card, you are entitled to a discount of 20 CZK for this event. This discount can also be combined with reduced admission rates, e.g., for students or seniors. The card must be presented upon entering the theater.
