Despite its extension, the Double Bind exhibition was closed for most of its duration. Although Ivan Pinkava's retrospective has now definitively ended, we have decided to commemorate it with a specially designed pair of products for which no restrictions apply.
Double Binding
I'm sure we've all had the urge to write, sketch or just jot something down in our favourite book at some point. We have combined the unusual with the everyday - a remarkable catalogue for the Double Bind exhibition and a notebook format. The Double Bind Notebook is a mirror fragment of the catalogue. It contains a number of selected photographs. What you find here, you'll find there, but what you find there, you won't necessarily find here. Every day, you can relive the story that began unfolding here last fall
The result is a daily-use book that is (in a limited series) also available signed by the author. We are convinced that a notebook has been created that you won't want to experience the moment you describe it. And if you do, you'll know very well where to reach for it again just for nostalgia's sake.
T-SHIRT PINKAVA
Pinkava's t-shirt again links two versions of Pieta. One with a human element, one without. The year 1997 vs. 2019. Two representations in mutual interpenetration.
