Monika Žáková (*1987) is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Since the beginning of her career she has emphasized precision. Monika's work is characterized by concentration and a strong emphasis on the technical processing of her paintings. She is fascinated by the process of layering and construction of meaning when dealing with the relationship between materials, especially in the form of canvas and paper.
