Iranian judoka Leila (Arienne Mandi) and her coach Maryam (Zar Amir) arrive at the World Judo Championships in Tbilisi determined to win Iran's first gold medal. However, during the championships, an ultimatum comes from the highest levels of the Islamic Republic: Leila must fake an injury and lose or she will be branded a traitor to the nation. With her freedom and that of her family at stake, Leila faces the decision of a lifetime - should she submit to the Iranian regime, as her coach also urges her to do, or keep fighting for gold
