V polovině 90. let žije Nitram se svou matkou a otcem na předměstí v Austrálii. Izolovaný a frustrovaný z toho, že není schopen nikam zapadnout. Nečekaně však nalezne blízkou přítelkyni v samotářské dědičce Heleně. Když však tento vztah vezme tragický konec a Nitramova osamělost a vztek rostou, začíná pomalý sestup, který vede ke katastrofě.
Be2Can je výběrová přehlídka prvotřídních festivalových snímků ze tří nejprestižnějších světových festivalů, která využívá princip multiplatformové distribuce prostřednictvím kina, TV, VOD a DVD. Jejím cílem je dostat k divákům filmy, které nabízejí vhled do aktuálního festivalového dění a v běžné distribuci chybí. Neomezujeme se na pouhé „uvádění“, ale naším cílem je kritická selekce a diskuze nejen o filmech samotných, ale i o festivalech, jejich dramaturgii, politice a cenách. Be2Can funguje zároveň jako filmová přehlídka, kritická platforma a diskusní fórum.

Nitram lives with his mother and father in suburban Australia in the Mid 1990s. He lives a life of isolation and frustration at never being able to fit in. That is until he unexpectedly finds a close friend in a reclusive heiress, Helen. However when that relationship meets a tragic end, and Nitram’s loneliness and anger grow, he begins a slow descent that leads to disaster.
Be2Can presents selected top-notch films from the world’s three most prestigious festivals, ap- plying the principle of multi-platform distribution through cinema, TV, VOD and DVD. It strives to provide the audience with an insight into that which is new at the festivals and to show films that are not screened within standard distribu- tion. Be2Can is not confined to mere “presenta- tion”, with its aim being a critical selection and discussion about the actual films, as well as their dramaturgy, policy and awards. Be2Can is a film festival, critical platform and debate forum rolled into one.
