The guest on our regular talk show for April will be Robert Horák. Robert is the co-founder and face of the growing Olomouc leather goods studio, which is currently transforming from a family-owned Horakůže company into Ateliér Arikona s.r.o.. Together with his wife, he builds Arikona on honest craftsmanship, handmade products and attention to detail, aesthetics and the personal story behind each product. In addition to leather production, their studio also serves as a showroom. In their work, they also focus on social enterprise development. Robert is passionate about photography, visual presentation and finding new ways to give traditional craftsmanship a contemporary meaning. His wife Alexandra plays a key role in the company’s design and production. Is product design more of a craft or an art, or where can we find that line? Are there good conditions for start-ups in our region, or was it easier to do business in the past, and why is Horakůže rebranding now? TTalk will answer this and much more!
Moderated by Radim Kašpar (District Chamber of Commerce) and Robert Runták (TLGRPH). Musical accompaniment provided by Petr Chrobák and his guests.
