The guest on this May’s TTalk will be Mira Macík, chief curator of the Telegraph Gallery.
In addition to his work at the Telegraph, he is also the director of the Prostějov Contemporary Art Festival; as an independent curator, he collaborates with Prague galleries, including Spot Gallery and Karpuchina Gallery, and is dedicated to presenting Czech artists in an international context. Among his recent projects is, for example, a solo exhibition by Marek Ther at the Ravnikar Gallery in Ljubljana. In addition to his curatorial and organizational activities, he also devotes himself to his own artistic practice. What keeps him at the Telegraph? How does he view the contemporary art world? And how has Olomouc changed in his eyes? TTalk will answer these questions and much more!
Moderated by Radim Kašpar (Regional Chamber of Commerce) and Robert Runták (TLGRPH). Musical accompaniment will be provided by our bandleader Petr Chrobák and his guests. The TTalk debate series, in collaboration with the Regional Chamber of Commerce, invites interesting personalities from the worlds of business, culture, and public life to the Telegraph.
