Jeff Koons is widely regarded as one of the most influential, popular and controversial artists of the last 30 years. The visual documentary Jeff Koons - An Intimate Portrait reveals the context behind the person, the artist and the Koons brand. It is an intimate exploration of the unconventional artist's consciousness, aiming to discover what motivates and shapes his extraordinary imagination. With access to Koons' family home in York, Pennsylvania, we get a glimpse into the artist's roots and daily life. We will look with him into his vast New York studio, where dozens of painters, sculptors and printmakers work. We will tour his exhibitions with him - to Qatar and to the Greek island of Hydra.
