Holly and Peat are hedgehog twins, but each is completely different. One day, they unexpectedly lost their parents and are coping with their great loss in their own way. Peat has retracted her quills and is hiding from the world—after all, this dangerous place took their mom and dad! Holly is sad, but she wants to find out what it's like out there. An unexpected encounter with a rabbit helps her do just that. The days pass at a somewhat monotonous pace for the distinguished father of the family (yes, he has 53 long-eared offspring at home!). But he still has big dreams, and fate suddenly opens the way for him to realize them. And Holly is right there with him!
The daring duo sets off on a great expedition to a distant city. While the cunning fox fights with other crafty inhabitants of the city dens for a piece of uneaten pizza, the rough underworld has a "big fish" under its paw. A huge task awaits the rabbit, but he is not about to run away. And you ask if he misses his children at home? Of course he does! The three bravest bunnies set out to find him with the help of a cat hunter, Agent Drápalka. Will the rabbit return to his family and Holly to Peat, or will their new life engulf them so much that they won't want to go back?
