Little Amélie or the Character of Rain (French title: Amélie et la métaphysique des tubes) is an independently produced animated film from 2025, directed by Maïlys Vallade and Liane-Cho Han. The film was produced by Maybe Movies and Ikki Films and is an adaptation of Amélie Nothomb's novel Métaphysique des tubes.
The film had its world premiere in the Special Screenings section at the Cannes Film Festival on May 20, 2025, and was released in French theaters by Haut et Court on June 25. The film was also nominated for Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards.
