Prachatice native Tadeáš Šíma embarked on a solo expedition across Africa, crossing the entire continent from north to south. In 2016, he set off on his bike from Prachatice with the aim of reaching Cape Town in South Africa. But his journey ended in Morocco, where a group of thieves robbed him of his bike. A year later, however, he set off again, this time from the Moroccan city of Tangier and successfully arrived in Cape Town. In seven months he cycled thirteen thousand kilometres and visited fifteen countries on the black continent.
