Our summer screenings in the Telegraph Pulse atrium are back! This year's Oscar winner simply belongs in a summer cinema! Why wouldn't a sex worker long for true love? Anora (Mikey Madison) is still naive enough to have such a dream. When a young, rich and wild Russian, Ivan (Mark Eidelshtein), books her at her "mother" club, she suggests that he is the one. Her life decision will be preceded by a colorful series of sex numbers, several lines of coke, lots of booze and a few days spent in Ivan's rented luxury home. And because the mothman is also quite the shooter, after a week of dating, they're off to Las Vegas to get married. Should they then live happily ever after? No way. Ivan's parents are Russian oligarchs, who put their wayward son in America before the trouble he caused back home in Russia. But they consider their son's marriage to an American prostitute to be the biggest mischief their son has ever committed, and of course they want it annulled. For better or worse. But their new daughter-in-law is a life-worn girl who will not shy away from anything and is ready to fight for her happy ending. Literally.
