Petr Nikl is a founding member of the art group Hardheads. He is an intermedia artist with classical roots who freely and persuasively expresses himself through traditional art techniques, as well as original books, interactive projects and improvisational events based on performance, theatre and music. He is the recipient of the 1995 Jindřich Chalupecký Award, a multiple winner of the Best Book Award and the 2005 Golden Angel Award in the alternative music category. In the same year, he prepared the exhibition The Garden of Fantasy and Music for the Czech pavilion at the EXPO in Aichi, Japan.
