Once upon a time, there was a flower kingdom full of scents and colors, and because it lay at the very edge of the world, it was called Tramtaria. And that is exactly where Hurvínek and Mánička set off. Once a fertile land, it was struck by such a drought that the vain Princess Gerbera fell ill and became sad. The elf Parlamentář therefore declares that all will turn out well once someone is found who can make the wilted flower smile again and bring her “the blue from the sky” It’s a truly difficult task, and it’s not as if Hurvínek and Mánička are exactly eager to take it on, but when the situation comes to a head and the princess threatens the pair of friends that if they don’t complete it, her carnivorous plant will feast on Žeryk, they don’t hesitate for a minute. They don’t have a moment to spare—the furry little guy could be done for at any moment! There’s only one way out of this mess:
Hurvínek and Mánička must find the “blue from the sky.” On their arduous journey, they meet the Lord of the Wind, but even he doesn’t know where to look. At least he blows them toward the Lord of the Clouds. He’s a bit of a grouch, suffering from a lack of water, so he’s not exactly easy to deal with. He advises them to ask the Lord of the Springs, who might know more. And indeed! Even though Hurvínek has had enough and Mánička can barely knit her sandals, it finally dawns on her underground! After all, they learned about the water cycle in
school. Suddenly, it all starts to make sense. (Bonton film)
