Martin Filippi: Playing with words

21 4 2026 / 18:30
cinema stand-up

An evening-long stand-up comedy show performed by Martin Filippi.

The audience will hear a lot of puns and jokes on the topics of relationships, family, health, Czech and baldness. Also, the word girlfriend will be heard in every other sentence. She'll be a wife by then, but Martin probably won't be able to remember it. Not that she will be a wife, but that he should call her that now.

The show runs 90 minutes and contains both new and tried and true jokes. Audience members are expected to have a basic knowledge of Czech; foreigners and Generation Z enter at their own risk of boredom. The word "yarrow" will also be heard. Dirty words, on the other hand, are kept to a minimum.

Tickets for GOOUT are already sold out. Martin Filippi will return to the Telegraph on 14 October 2026. Keep an eye on our website and GoOut.
