Christmas, Christmas is coming and the Telegraph has come up with recommendations for gifts for your loved ones!
What could be better than a gift that combines art and personality? If you're looking for something truly original, we've got a few recommendations for you that you can get straight from the Telegraph's range.
1. TELEGRAPHICS - for art lovers
For art lovers, one of our Telegraphics is the perfect choice. We offer a variety of artistic approaches, from the abstraction of Pavel Korbička to the tigers of Laura Limbourg. If you and a loved one have visited Mark Thera's exhibition May, Pavel Korbička's Space of Perception or the visual performance Connections by artist Peter Nikl, this is a great gift as a reminder that references the atmosphere of these exhibitions in an unusual way.
Among other artists who have created special serigraphs for our Telegrafik edition are Jakub Špaňhel, David Pešat, Filip Kůrka, Dominik Adamec and Monika Žáková. However, if you are unsure of your choice, we will be happy to help and advise you on the right piece for your loved one.
2. MEMBERSHIPS - for lovers of art, design and gastronomy
Don't like to give gifts that don't last? How about giving the gift of a year's membership to the Telegraph Club? You can choose from three types of membership, with the basic one starting at £200. Membership is the perfect choice for those who want to surprise their loved ones with free admission to the Telegraph Gallery, an after-party after the opening, discounts to Telegraph Pulse, catalogues or selected Telegraph events. Members are also guaranteed entry to exclusive events just for them. It's a great option for those who don't have a partner for gallery trips or want to spend time with their loved one in an unconventional way.
3. COLOURING - for drawing enthusiasts
We have something for the little ones too. For the Telegraph's fifth birthday, we have collaborated with graphic artist Kateřina Janků to create a colouring book with 21 illustrations that commemorate the exhibitions that have taken place over these five years. The colouring books made of high-quality paper feature illustrations inspired by exhibitions such as GOOD BOY, Brave World, Signal III and German Painting Now. But adults definitely won't be bored with them either!
4. T-SHIRT JAKE CHAPMAN - for fashion and underground lovers
This year we had the honour of creating an exhibition for British artist Jake Chapman - FLOTSAM & JETSAM. Exclusively for the Telegraph, Chapman created original t-shirts with the slogans ANNIHILATION and EXTINCTION, which were included in some of the pieces in the exhibition.
Do you like recession and dark humour as much as Jake Chapman? Then you can proudly wear this t-shirt to look back on at the opening of the exhibition. It was combined with a concert of the band NEOLIBERALITHICS by Jake Chapman, Soren Dahlgaard and Jakub Janovský. During the concert there was also a unique yoga instruction led by the exhibition curator Mark Sanders. Some of us have already tried practicing yoga and playing the concert.
5. Bookmaker Kit - for DIY lovers
We couldn't forget the Bookmaker Kit product, named after Katerina Mesticka aka Bookmaker. This kit is for those who want to delve into the bookbinding craft or want self-made gifts. The Bookbinder allows you to make your own notebooks in Telegraph colours and learn step by step how to hand-stitch a V1 binding using illustrated instructions.
