The film is about the leading Slovak painter Andrej Dúbravský at the time of his exhibition entitled "Good Boy" at the Telegraph Gallery in Olomouc. Just a few months before the exhibition, Dúbravský's painting of two men kissing drew criticism from the new Slovak Culture Minister Martina Šimkovičová. She is known for her conservative views on issues such as support for the LGBT community, and her appointment under the fourth government of Robert Fico was accompanied by public protests demanding her resignation. The exhibition "Good Boy", curated by Erika Kovačičová and Mira Macík, is, among other things, the painter's reaction to the events in Slovakia.

The documentary film by director Michael Bukovanský, which was made during the GOOD BOY exhibition, tries to introduce the exhibition and Dúbravský himself in more detail, and to cover a broader thematic scope. The film is not simply an introduction to the works on display and an explanation of the artist's inspirations, but offers a glimpse into the controversy that preceded the Telegraph exhibition. In this way, the film goes beyond the exhibition and discusses the contemporary socio-political situation in Slovakia.
