A crumbling house stands among the fields in the rolling landscape of the Bohemian Central Mountains. Its new and only inhabitant is Martin (David Švehlík), who has left the city to find his lost direction here. But when the mysterious Agnes (Judit Pecháček) appears on his doorstep, his closed world falls apart. As the landscape rebels and the ancient danger hidden in the soil comes to life, Martin must restore the lost memory of the place to save Agnes, the land and himself. Wirbel, the feature debut of director Tomáš Hubáček, is a hypnotic story about the power of the landscape, forgotten folk wisdom and the search for a true home.
