Czech romantic comedies don't usually feature in our cinema programme, but since this is based on a play originally from Olomouc, with director Andy Fehu and a stellar ensemble cast behind the project, and especially since this film was largely shot on location at the Telegraph, we can't fail to feature it here. Nina (Petra Hřebíčková) is an ambitious chef who is about to open her own restaurant, while Richard (Tomáš Maštalír) is a sought-after gynaecologist. They were once a happy couple, but after years of marriage they find themselves in a complicated relationship situation - neither can stand the other. Only one thing separates them from a divorce, a contract they once wrote on a paper napkin in a drunken stupor, in which they agreed that whoever causes the end of the relationship will not get a single crown from their joint property. In desperation, Richard asks his friend Chenda (Martin Pechlát), who is married to their mutual friend Alena, to seduce Nina at the opening of her new business. But she finds out and plans revenge. Infidelity for infidelity! And so the festive evening is full of confusion, comic situations and gastronomic surprises.
