Seventeen-year-old Klára and her younger brother Teo live in a bilingual family, but their parents David and Laura recently separated. David decides to take the children to the Adriatic and work on their relationship. What looks like an attempt at a family idyll gradually reveals deeper problems - especially for Klara, who struggles with an eating disorder. Tensions mount when a local young man, Denis, enters her life. The situation escalates through unexpected circumstances, leading to a premature return home and Klara's hospitalisation. Saving Klara's life is the only thing holding her parents together. And a desperate situation calls for a desperate solution.
