Charming Elsa arrives in sunny Lanzarote in 2004 to escape a life crisis and search for a fresh start. At least, that is the story written by the aging, acclaimed director Raúl. However, the events and characters suspiciously resemble the lives of Raúl's closest loved ones. As they begin to recognize themselves on the page, uncomfortable questions arise: Where does inspiration end and privacy begin?
