When you've got nine lives to live, it doesn't matter that you're going to make a few points here and there, especially when you're a legendary hero who willingly throws himself into the craziest adventures. Puss in Boots has just saved the inhabitants of a small town from a rampaging giant, only to lose the second-to-last of his lives in the process. A discovery like that would sway a much more resilient character. So the cat decides to hang up his boots and live on in the relative safety of the cat sanctuary as a common furry pet. However, he mustn't let that stop him from keeping up with the tough Goldilocks and her three rough bear partners, who have an unsettled score to settle with him, and the mysterious Wolf, who swords like the devil (and maybe he is the devil). Fortunately, hope dies last - in Puss's case, it takes the form of the legendary Wish Star, who could restore the lives he's lost. But such a precious thing is extremely hard to find. Puss in Boots must swallow his pride and call a truce with his eternal rival, the cat burglar Chichi Pacička. Together with her and a new friend, Dog, who pretends to be a cat for some reason, they embark on a fairy-tale adventure with a reward at the end. That is, if they find the Wish Star first.
