Afternoon DAD and a new Czech fairy tale! In ancient times, our country was ruled by pagan gods and goddesses. Not only the well-known god Radegast in Wallachia, but many others - good... and bad, kind and quarrelsome, cheerful and serious. These are the heroes of the fairy tale The Greatest Gift. And besides them, the quirky inhabitants of a small Wallachian village. What happens when the gods start interfering in the lives of the people and the people in the lives of the gods? Will Morena, the goddess of winter, who brings eternal ice and frost to the earth, prevail, or will she be overpowered by the goddesses of spring, summer and autumn? Will the supreme god of the Magpies learn of Morena's rampage in time to bring the cycle of the four seasons back into balance? These are all questions that will be answered in The Greatest Gift. But we'll tell you one thing now! The other gods will eventually succeed in stopping Morena. But they'll need something far more powerful than their magic. One simple Wallachian girl will help them, and she has the greatest gift that even Morena's magic can't match.
