The lectures, dedicated to the Beat Generation, a fundamental - not only - literary movement of the second half of the 20th century, will introduce not only its phenomenon as such, but also its protagonists: Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, William S. Burroughs, their often turbulent lives and provocative works, and there will be video and audio excerpts. The Beatniks will be introduced by Josef Rauvolf, a translator of these authors and their leading expert.
