The repetitive principle appears in many forms and manifestations in Czech visual art. The repetition of certain motifs, elementary elements or ideas, the organisation of relationships within a work or even the more or less conscious need to automate the process of creation opens up a whole range of interesting topics. From the structure of artworks, order, system and processuality, we also come to the psychological aspects of creation, to the specific way of concentration and "urge" that sometimes leads artists to obsessive creative activity.
