World-renowned auctioneer and Czech-American Nicholas Lowry flies from New York to Prague to map what has shaped and defined Czech national identity as a passionate collector. His travels across the Czech Republic take him to iconic sites of graphic design, including Zlín, Litomyšl, Brno and Pilsen, where he explores not only the work of Tomáš Bat'a, Josef Váchal, Alfons Mucha, Ladislav Sutnar, but also the famous Pilsner beer. The quirky guide in a tartan suit also travels to South Moravia in search of the aesthetics of wine labels, goes on a tramp trip along the marked routes of the Czech Tourist Club, and meets the current generation of artists such as Petr Babák, Martin Pecina and Aleš Najbrt. And through the uncovering of Czech identity, Nicho gets closer to his own roots - his great-uncle founded the Primeros factory in Prague, which also spoke into the history of Czech graphic identity.

The film is presented as part of the Design Days Olomouc festival.
