Telegraph Cinema returns online in partnership with #kinaspolu!

It's been many months since cinemas shut down for the second time due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A government decree halted the Be2Can festival from getting off the ground, and many other festivals and Czech and world premieres have moved online. Even though we are starting to see better times thanks to rising temperatures and vaccine shipments slowly, but surely, making their way to the Czech Republic, we are joining the #kinaspoli initiative until we can fully open. Thanks to it, you can enjoy a rich dramaturgy in the comfort of your own home, while supporting your favourite cinema (Telegraph, wink wink).

How to do it? Under the CINEMA tab you'll find the full cinema programme for this month, with two screenings a day to choose from. For the film of your choice, click on BUY A TICKET, drop one (or more) in your basket, fill in your email and pay. You will receive an email with a code that you can use to watch the film at www.kinaspolu.cz. For more information on purchasing and playing, see HERE.

For information on specific titles, see HERE.

OUR TIP

Royal Videos

From the production companies Artactive production and Blackout productions comes a documentary that takes you back, like an imaginary DeLorean, to a time when our videos were ruled by speed-dating, films were bought on black market exchanges and home video screenings were held en masse. Come see how the pirates, dubbers, distributors and all those who gave us something to feed our videos remember their time.
